The NOMOS Glashütte Tangente neomatik has arrived in a cool platinum grey. Iconic for its slender and intelligent design, it is available in 35mm and 39mm with a sapphire glass case back.
Graceful Arabic numerals, slender bezels and coin-shaped steel cases topped by smooth sapphire crystal. The Tangente is the most successful watch by NOMOS Glashütte, and one of the most famous wristwatches made in Germany. This platinum gray execution adds a new look to the watch series, becoming the pinnacle of cool elegance.
The eponymous dial is plated with rhodium, a platinum alloy which provides the striking gray hue. Needle-thin hands for hours, minutes and small seconds are similarly coated in rhodium to accentuate the harmonious design. As is so often the case with NOMOS Glashütte, this design is gender-neutral – size being the only difference.
Neomatik, short for new automatic, defines the inner workings of the NOMOS Glashütte Tangente. It is a testament to the work of watchmakers and engineers in the development of the in-house automatic caliber DUW 3001. The movement is equipped with the proprietary NOMOS swing system for outstanding precision. It is also very slender, which lends itself to the watch’s overall svelte frame at only 7mm in height.
